One of the pictures I took was of my dog Spot at the top of the page. He is two years old and is by far one of the best decisions my family has made. It took a lot of persuasion just to get a dog and convince my parents that I would take such good care of him. His name comes from the fact that A. my family isn't too creative for animal names and B. he has a large white spot on his belly which we thought was rather cool. He always lightens up the mood with his endless energy and is never in a bad mood. I took his photo on his favorite place to sleep during the day; of course it has to be the largest couch in the living room. He will lie there while my brother and I are in school and then jump out if excitedly when we arrive. I took it at an angle he always sleeps towards as well since he likes to face the front door. One of the challenges I feel I have accomplished while taking this photo is the fact I got him to stay still for a couple minutes. I mean he is an energetic dog who always wants to play with his toys. I literally had to hold a treat in front of him fro the colored image so he would stay still. I also love the fact that the photo appears to be centered on him and blurred the background. I tried to get his face details and show his eyes clearly as well. He was the set of photos I took so I could really set off the time for his pictures. While he was difficult while taking the photos he still his my loving energetic dog that I get to see every day.
